The orphanage home was found needed after an orphan named Gumoshabe Gift a school girl at Magra Junior school found it difficult to return home after the father died of HIV/AIDs. The mother was helpless and the option was to exchange men in their one room rented house on a daily basis. Gift was always scared of these men as they harrased her everytime she took long to fall asleep. After sharing her story, we realised Gift's life was in danger and no one was to help her than us. She stayed at school for a few weeks until we rented a house for an orphanage home.

From this time, we developed a habit of sharing with children about their life experience and found out that caretakers were however a burden to most of the children who run from home to sleep on the streets.

Life in a less developed countries is alarming.

This being, most of the things are unattainable ranging from social services and basic needs. Due to uncertainties, children who lose their parents happen to end up on the streets in search for help. It was therefore our call to respond to this generation to generation situation by providing shelter, balanced diet and education to these children. We have tried helping a manageable number of at-risk children raising them in love and faith with hope for a brighter future.

It is our dream to help more homeless children on the streets but due to the limited rented space, we are unable to do so. We take care of 22 children among the countless homeless and abused children. Through help from donations, we can be able to help many children and provide better standards of living.

Be grateful for the people in your life who not only tell you they can but show they do.
